Anonymous said...: Deftones are back with their sixth full-length album, Diamond Eyes. This will be their first release in four years! The hiatus was a result of Deftone’s drummer, Chi Cheng’s, involvement in a car accident January of 2009, leaving him in a coma. Cheng’s condition, although improving, put the release of their previous studio effort on hold until further notice. The new album has been recorded with longtime friend of the band, Sergio Vega, who stepped in for Cheng in Spring of 2009. Diamond Eyes is due in stores May 4th.
